The Premier Foundation is pleased to announce that the fifth annual Perspective – A Jared Emerson Art Show & Benefit will take place on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Zen in downtown Greenville, SC.
The event is called Perspective because “perspective” is defined as the proper or accurate point of view or the ability to see it. Jared’s goal is to offer proper perspective on the world around us by helping those in desperate need of a hand up. Over the past four years, Perspective has netted over $200,000 to help support the Premier Foundation’s Adopt the Block program. The 2016 event helped restore two Greenville veteran’s homes as well as a transitional home for our returning warriors struggling with PTSD; implement therapeutic art projects in Cambodia for victims of sex trafficking, in Jordan for Iraqi and Syrian refugees fleeing from the horrors of ISIS, and Cuba for followers of the emerging church; care for orphans in the Bahamas; and further the building of a church in New Orleans destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
The money raised during the evening will be used for programs that continue to help serve those struggling in Greenville and Detroit, Michigan, helping make life bearable for those living through unbearable circumstances.
